This CRKT M16 Z Black Spear Point has nearly all the same features as his big brothers. The knife is simple, very strong and comfortable to hold. The handle of the knife is made of stainless steel with a black matte finish. The pocket clip of the Black Spear Point can be mounted in two different ways, which makes the knife easily accessible for both right- and left handed users. 
  
  

The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel and also has a black, matte finish. This gives the entire knife a tough appearance. The Carson Flipper ensures smooth opening and serves as a finger protection in the open position. The blade is locked by means of a traditional framelock system. The design is submitted by Kit Carson.

Auch wenn ich mich bei der Bestellung vertan hatte und das kleine von beiden bestellt habe,bin ich trotzdem völlig zufrieden...

is erg scherp uit de doos en makkelijk zelf scherp te houden.
het formaat en gewicht zorgen ervoor dat je niet merkt dat je hem op zak hebt.
de flipper is aan te passen door de schroef te draaien, dit kan je met je nagel doen je hebt daar geen schroevendraaier voor nodig.
de coating op het blad heeft nog amper gebruikssporen na een jaar.

De CRKT M16-01K viel in eerst instantie wat tegen, misschien kwam dit wel door de Kershaw/Al Mar 4 die ik een maand eerder had aangeschaft en buitengewoon goed beviel. Deze CRKT viel wat kleiner uit dan ik had verwacht en het openen ging iets minder soepel dan gehoopt. Maar toch na een paar weekjes gebruikt te hebben is het toch wel een handig scherpe folder. Meer EDC zou k zeggen dan een tactisch mes. De pocketclip kan maar een kan op, tip down, terwijl k altijd tip up draag.
Het uiterlijk van het mes spreekt me wel erg aan zwart met een technische uitstraling.

Het mes is ontzettend scherp en voelt erg stevig aan.
