The **Eden Classic Damast bread knife** is perfect for cutting all sorts of bread. From hard to soft crusts, from soft buns to baguettes: the serrated edge will easily glide through it.


You could also use this knife for cutting pies, cakes, hard vegetables and fruit. Think of the hard skin of pumpkins and melons or peeling and cutting through celeriac. Because of its versatility, however, it would be more appropriate to talk of a serrated knife instead of a bread knife.


## Eden Classic Damast series


The Eden Classic Damast series is comprised of all conceivable kitchen knives. The blades on these knives have a core of strong and stainless AUS-10 steel, with a hardness of 60 HRC. The edge is razor-sharp and can easily be sharpened. The core has been encased in multiple layers of graceful Damascus steel.  33 layers per side to be exact. As such, including the core, there are 67 layers in total. Because of this combination the kitchen knives are not only incredibly functional, they are also absolute eye-catchers in your kitchen.


The Damascus steel blade seamlessly merges with the stunning black design handle that is comprised of a composite of linen and synthetic resin. The handle and the blade have been connected with the help of three rivets.


## Not in the dishwasher


As applies to all top-quality kitchen knives, it is best if you do not put your Eden Classic Damast knives in the dishwasher. It is best if you immediately wash and dry them after use. As a result the unique look and feel and the quality of the knives is optimally preserved.

Nice knife, looks good. If only the quality would be at the same level, it'd be perfect! If I bend the blade sideways, it stays bent, as if the knife wasn't tempered... I guess next time I'll buy again my old bread knife: at Ikea! Much cheaper and sturdy as hell!

Hebben hier inmiddels 20 broden mee gesneden maar is nog als nieuw. Licht lekker in de hand en is mooi afgewerkt. Dit mes is perfect voor busbroden maar ook voor vloerbrood dat wat breder is gaat het perfect 

Fijn broodmes. Ligt perfect in de hand. 
En ziet er stijfvol uit. Past mooi, bij mij andere Eden Classic Damast messen. 

Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'achète un couteau Eden ; la qualité de fabrication et la finition du couteau est vraiment impressionnante au vu du prix plutôt raisonnable. Je recommande vivement cette gamme Classic Damast pour ceux qui cherchent de beaux couteaux sans se ruiner !
