The ESEE Model 4 is a solid survival knife with a blade made from 1095 carbon steel. The extremely sustainable powder coating on the blade protects it from the increased corrosion sensitivity of the carbon steel. The wonderful usage qualities of the steel guarantee a lifetime of pleasure. The full-tang blade is enhanced with a G10 handle. The handle feels slightly coarse which is great for grip and comfort. The ESEE 4 is large enough to give your hands enough room without it becoming a colossal knife.


The handle is enhanced with a curve for your index finger. This knife feels so amazing in hand it makes you wonder why other knives sometimes need an entire row of curves. The heel of the blade also has one of these curves. If you put your index finger in that curve you can place your thumb on the blade. The ridges on top are in just the right place for your thumb. As a result you will have a lot of control over the knife which is great, for instance, when preparing food.



This ESEE 4 comes with a nice Zytel sheath, with belt clip. You can assemble this yourself in a way that suits you best.

Excellent knife, decided to keep it, really sharp to, what the say is warranty for life don’t know how true that is. Will take with me next time i go hunting.

Ich finde die Farbkombinationen Grün und orange leider garnicht passend. Ansonsten liegt es für Esee gewohnt gut in der Hand. Getestet habe ich mehr jedoch nicht, da es zurück ging. 

Très bon couteau et finitions parfaites, bon étui mais cher hors promo...

Super couteau, on voit de suite que c’est du solide. L’étui est très bien adapté avec un très bon maintient du couteau. Pas encore eu l’occasion de l’affûter malgré un usage intensif peu précautionneux (usage agricole, contact fréquent avec la terre).
