The **Felco 640 tree saw** is also called the 640 pull saw. A pull saw works a little different from a conventional wood saw. As the name already suggests it saws with a pulling, not a pushing movement. As a result a pull saw can be thinner than a normal saw. An arrow on the saw blade makes sure that you know how to use this tree saw. This saw is perfect for expertly cutting through branches up to 120 mm.


The Felco 640 has a stainless steel chromed saw blade made from top-quality hardened steel. The curved saw blade is tapered to make sure the saw won’t get stuck and can easily be used in places where there isn’t enough room. The serrations have been added as such that no dirt can get stuck in between. It will definitely save you a lot of maintenance. The serrations on the saw blade are incredibly strong thanks to the so-called ‘impuls hardening’ treatment. Have the serrations gotten blunt over time? You can easily replace the saw blade.


The 640 hand saw comes with a sheath you can easily attach to your belt or attach to your leg with a special strap. This saw is great for both left-handed and right-handed user.

The Felco saws are carefully and completely assembled by hand in the factory in Geneveys-sur-Coffrance in Switzerland. In addition, the adjusting and boxing of the saw is also done by hand with the same care and precision. As a result each Felco saw is delivered in perfect condition and properly adjusted. And, as applies to all Felco tools, spare tools are available for the Felco 640 to guarantee a long life.

Prima zaag en heeft een wat steviger zaagblad als de silky zagen die ik gebruik. Compleet met foedraal en riem.  Ik heb er harde houtsoorten mee gezaagd en de zaag deed zijn werk. Zeer tevreden

Excellent fixed blade pruning saw. It has a really nice balance and feels good in the hand even after a lot of cutting. Used for tree pruning and coppicing.
