The small Fenix E12 might be just a tad too big for carrying on a bunch of keys. Yes it's so small that you can always carry it with you. And when need occurs, a full-function torch is revealed in this small appearance. With three light modes and a maximum light output of 130 lumens you will not fall short of light or options. The E12 functions on a single AA battery, on which it works for a maximum of 40 hours.  
  


The operation of the E12 is done with a switch at the back of the torch. Pressing it until you hear the click, switches the torch on or off. With a half-press you go through the different light modes.

* The indication of the light intensity is according to the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standards. This means that the values may be lower than former values . Naturally, this lower value has no consequence for the light intensity of the torch. The advantage of the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standards is that the values can be compared with each other and give a real picture of the actual light intenstiy.

Een fabelachtig mooi, degelijk en goed ontworpen zaklampje.
Goed ontworpen omdat hij op zijn achterkant rechtop kan staan en een lange brandduur heeft op zijn laagste 8 lumen stand.
Omdat ik hem het meest gebruik als staande lamp moest ik wel knutselen om er een diffusor op te maken. Dat ging met de Fenix EA06 diffusor 34 mm.
Daarin kan je een 1,25 duims hostaliet electrapijp van 90 mm lengte onwrikbaar vast inklemmen om een perfecte staande lamp te maken.
Hiermee is hij multi functioneel geworden.

Uitstekend bereik en makkelijke bediening voor een lichtgewicht en zakformaat lampje! Ideaal voor veldwerk en uilen, tot 60 meter bruikbaar.

Ideaal EDC  lampje. Klein en licht maar met veel vermogen. Gekocht als vervanging van mijn Fenix E01 voor die momenten dat je met de E01 net wat te kort komt.  

Cette lampe serait parfaite, taille,  poids, indice d'étanchéité, performances en regard de sa source d'alimentation à savoir une seule pile ou rechargeable AA (Je suis un inconditionnel du AA ou AAA) , si malheureusement l'allumage de la lampe ne se faisait pas sur la plus faible puissance. Je ne sais pas si c'était indiqué dans le descriptif. Si oui, je ne l'ai pas vu sinon je ne l'aurais pas achetée.
Pour moi l'allumage doit se faire d'emblée sur la puissance maximale quitte à la baisser, et non l'inverse.
