The **Fenix HM65R-T** head torch was specifically designed for trail running. It is a version of the Fenix HM65R. As such you benefit from the different advantages such as the different light beams, the long battery life and the rechargeability of the original light. The Fenix HM65R-T, however, has the right head band, weight, material and maximum output perfect for trail running. The patented head band with Sport system is comfortable and can easily be adjusted to make sure it always stays in place.


The Fenix HM65R-T is enhanced with two individual LED lights, one for a focused beam and one for a broad beam. If you turn both beams on at the same time you end up with a maximum output of 1500 lumens. Combined with a weight of 91 grams and a burn time of up to 300 hours this head torch is perfect for challenging outdoor sports such as trail running. The light can handle a fall from a height of up to 2 metres and works at temperatures between -35 and 45 degrees Celsius.


## How to use the Fenix HM65R-T


With the two different switches you can control both beams independently. Both switches were designed as such that you can also easily use them while wearing gloves. One switch controls the broad beam, the other the focused beam. By holding one of the switches down you turn on the light. The light will immediately start in the mode last used. To switch beams or modes you briefly press the preferred switch.


### Broad light modes for the Fenix HM65R-T


* High: 400 lumens, burn time of approx. 12:00 hours.
* Medium: 70 lumens, burn time of approx. 30:00 hours.
* Low: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 300 hours


### Focused light modes for the Fenix HM65R-T


* Turbo: 1300 lumens, burn time of approx. 4 hours*
* High: 400 lumens, burn time of approx. 12:00 hours.
* Low: 130 lumens, burn time of approx. 24 hours
* The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.


You don't want the light to accidentally turn on while you are on the road. To ensure it doesn't you can use the lock-out mode. To activate this mode the head torch needs to be turned on. At that moment you will press both switches about three seconds. The head torch won't turn on now. To deactivate this mode you press both switches again. 


## Charging the Fenix HM65R-T


You can easily charge the light via the USB-C port. A rubber cover ensures that the head is protected against water and dust. A such the USB-port also cannot be damaged. Want to check the battery status while charging the light? A blue charging indicator will show you the charging status. It will take up to 3 hours to charge the battery. As soon as it is fully charged the indicator will turn blue.


## Intelligent protection


If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops the light will switch back to the turbo mode.

TRAILRUNNERS: bestel niet deze HM65R-T maar in plaats daarvan de HM65R met overhead strap. De HM65R is niet specifiek voor trail runners, maar ik heb ze beide geprobeerd en de HM65R kan ik super comfortabel dragen, terwijl de HM65R-T op en neer beweegt en alleen comfortabel is met een buff of muts eronder. Dit laatste komt ook terug in YouTube reviews.

Zeer felle lamp die alles goed verlicht tijdens het nachtvissen !

Fantastische hoofdlamp, aangekocht voor gebruik tijdens ultra-runs. Max 1500 lumen hetgeen zeer veel is. In de stand ‘spotlight-medium’ gaat de meegeleverde batterij maar liefst 12u mee en loop je in een zee van licht. Fijne hoofdband met handige BOA-sluiting. Beste hoofdlamp die ik ooit had. Daags na de bestelling geleverd. 

Frontale polyvalente, légere et comfortable,trés puissante avec un exellent rendu des couleurs.
