Forge de Laguiole’s special Languiole knives are crafted with love. This classic French pocket knife has all the features of a Laguiole knife, including the shepherd’s cross embellished on the handle and of course, the characteristic bee depicted on the catch. This handcrafted pocket knife is slim and elegant in design. Since these knives are crafted by hand using natural materials, each knife is completely unique. There are many Laguiole pocket knives on the market today but only few have the quality and appearance of the Forge de Laguiole knives. A knife like this shows good taste and class.

Commandé deux modèles et comparé avec un troisième, tous présentent des finitions médiocres :

- Guillochages tantôt salement grossiers ou à peine marqués. 
- Abeilles partiellement polie. 
- Lames mal centrées
- Taillant large d'un coté, minuscule de l'autre
- Le pire, une lame non affutée jusqu'à la pointe.
Je n'ai jamais vu un couteau à ce prix si mauvais.

Les couteaux repartent. Je vais contacter Forge de Laguiole pour savoir si c'est effectivement leur standard de production ou si c'est issu d'un lot bâclé, pour confirmer mon avis ou pas. Parce que jusqu'ici j'ai vu mieux chez Laguiole En Aubrac, pour un prix équivalent.

Het met de hand gemaakte mes van Laguiole behoeft eigenlijk
geen verdere toelichting het model, de materialen, de perfecte
afwerking, de eigenschappen van dit mes komen echter alléén naar voren door het alledaags gebruik.
De bestelling, levering en afhandeling was zoals ik van Knivesandtools gewend ben namelijk uitstekend.
