Rick Hinderer is the knife maker responsible for the Cryo II. And he has made something beautiful out of it. A very solid knife for a competitive price. It is made of solid stainless steel with a matte-gray titanium nitride coating. The assisted opening helps the blade to open quickly and smoothly. Both the thumb rest and the flipper can be used left-and right-handed to open the knife with one hand. The heavy duty frame lock blocks the blade in the open position. It is not possible to push the frame lock too far to the outside. A flange limits the space. In short, a well thought out and safe system.  
   


Also well thought out is the pocket clip. It sticks out just above the edge of the knife. As a result, the knife disappears completely into your Pocket. Also the slender look contributes to the invisibility of this knife in your pocket. This solid knife you can carry with you at all times! This folding knife is highly similar to the Cryo II. Only it is just a little smaller.

Noch nie ein so schlechtes Messer aus der Box genommen. Klingenstand völlig aus der Mitte, Klinge schleift beim öffnen und schließen, einstellen nicht möglich. Das erste mal das ich ein Messer zurückgeschickt habe. 

super Handling - auch wenn es für meine Hand einen kleinen Tick zu klein wirkt, was den Daumenpinn betrifft. Das Assisted Opening funktioniert bestens - man kann gar nicht aufhören, damit zu spielen, wenn man das noch nicht kannte ... evtl. hätte das Cryo II wegen seiner Größe für mich mehr Sinn gemacht - werde das Cryo aber dennoch gerne nutzen. Die Schnitthaltigkeit hält sich in Grenzen, bin aber auch nicht gerade ein Kenner. Ich hatte mir das kleine süße Buck 325 Colleague gleichzeitig bestellt - dieses kam hier wesentlich schärfer an und ist es auch immer noch - diese Messer sind allerdings ansonsten nicht zu vergleichen. Einziges (kleines) Manko: minimales Klingenspiel - aber man merkt es nur, wenn man das Klingenspiel prüfen möchte - nicht in der Anwendung des Messers - also zu vernachlässigen wie ich finde... Fazit: zufrieden - vor allem für diesen Preis!

We'll, what an excellent knife, looks and feels great, superb size, very sharp and the flipper is just fantastic, locks up well. Nice deep pocket clip too. Well worth the money, and as always excellent delivery from knife & tools.
