A very small pocket knife can be very good and solid. The Chive by Kershaw, is designed by a famous knife maker, Ken Onion. The quality is as you would expect of Kershaw. Opening the blade is aided by the assisted opening. That also works extremely comfortable and fast with such a little pocket knife. In addition to the assisted opening, this blade also has a solid frame lock and an additional block that prevents the knife from opening unintentionally. This blocking slides just over the tip of the blade when the knife is closed. If you want, this locking is also easy to remove.  
   


The handle of this knife is made of stainless steel. The grip on this small pocket knife is, considering it's size, surprisingly good. This is due to curves in the right places and ridge at the top of the blade..

Geweldig klein edc flipper mesje. Het formaat zorgt ervoor dat het mes niet intimiderend werkt en kan dus overal gebruikt worden. Met een vinger flipt hij open, ook met een hand te sluiten. Erg fijn edc mesje!

It is a great little pocket knife I have used it at my garden allotment for cutting twine and some clippings very handy one hand operation and a good design for safety with the lock and clip when keeping it in your pocket for future use .

Zeer goed en compact EDC mesje.
Vlotte en snelle opening met 1 hand
Goede framelock op ongeveer 50%
Makkelijk te sluiten met 1 hand.
Goede centering.
Veiligheid is niet echt nodig omdat je toch genoeg kracht moet uitoefenen op de flippertab om het te openen, maar het is wel leuk dat dit voorzien is.
Goede scherpte vanuit de verpakking.
Stevig.

Nadelen: 
Beetje moeilijk te slijpen met een steen in de holte van het blad, voor dit gedeelte gebruik ik een ceramische staaf.
Jammer van het te zachte staal voor het blad.

bottomline: Moest dit mesje iets beter staal hebben en iets beter te slijpen zijn (vorm) zijn, dan is het moeilijk om nog dichter bij de perfectie te komen voor een klein mesje.
