For the Opinel fan who needs a multi tool, we now have a beatuiful option: the DIY Bricolage. A modern, recognizable Opinel model which can pass for a multi tool. The handle is made of plastic and the knife features a few useful extra's. Two bits are laid in the handle, a flat screwdriver and a Philips screw driver. At the back of the knife there is a magnetic bit holder, in which you can lock the bits for use. The blade features two recesses which function as a wire stripper and cutter.  
  


Of course, this pocket knife features the simple but effective Virobloc-locking. The blade is blocked by a ring, which can be pivoted around the hinge point. A classic in the true sense of the word.

Prima mes , en de bits die erbij zitten ook prima , heb Al een paar kabels gestript en dat werkte goed

Alhoewel de kwaliteit van het product is zoals je van een Opinel mes mag verwachten vind ik dat er onvoldoende is nagedacht over de plaatsing van de schroefbitjes.
Deze lijken mij bij het veelvuldig en ruw (wat je mag verwachten bij DHZ werk) gebruik te gemakkelijk uit het handvat te zullen vallen.
Daarnaast is het vele stof en dergelijke waar dit mes aan blootgesteld zal worden bij het DHZ werk niet echt bevorderlijk voor het draaien van de ring rond het lemmet.

Mes wordt uit de verpakking niet echt scherp geleverd. 
Ik heb het mes nog geslepen op mijn Naniwa waterstenen. 

Als dit gedaan is is het echter een zeer fijn mes. 

Wel opletten met openen van het mes dat de vergrendeling ring er niet af gaat als het mes vergrendeld is. 
Ik opende het mes toed deze er wel op zat, gevolg is dat de vergrendeling ring er dan af gaat. 
Deze is wel weer te monteren. 

De bitjes zijn een leuke bijkomstigheid.
