## Blade made of 7Cr17MoVsteel
The blade is made of 7Cr17MoV. That sounds like quite the mouthful, but it's actually simple. It is a stainless steel, it is easy to sharpen, it offers good sharpness retention and, above all, it's budget-friendly. In the US, 7Cr17MoV is also known as 440A steel.

Ik ben erg tevreden met dit vaste mes. Het voelt solide en robuust aan dankzij de full-tang constructie en komt scherp uit de doos — meteen klaar voor gebruik. Dit is geen alleskunner voor EDC of bushcraft; het heeft duidelijk één doel en dat voert het goed uit. De clip (op het foedraal/schede) zit stevig vast, en de lederen foedraal heeft even wat inlooptijd nodig voordat het mes soepel in- en uitgaat — dat is een klein puntje maar lost zich vanzelf op.

Pluspunten
• Volledige full-tang bouw: voelt zeer degelijk en betrouwbaar.
• Prima scherp uit de doos — direct bruikbaar.
• Stevige clip / bevestiging van de schede.
• Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding voor een vaststaand mes.

Minpunten
• Geen allrounder: niet bedoeld als EDC of bushcraft-mes, maar voor een specifiek doel.
• Lederen foedraal heeft wat “break-in” nodig om soepel te worden.

Als je een betaalbaar, stevig en doelgericht fixed blade zoekt en je accepteert dat het niet een universeel allesmes is, dan is dit een uitstekende keuze. Zorg dat je de lederen foedraal even inloopt en behandel je staal en leer uiteraard met de juiste onderhoudsproducten voor lange levensduur.

Ik geef zelden 5 sterren maar ik ben extreem angenam verrast door deze. Ligt goed in de hand. Voelt solide.... een punt die door alles doorschuift als was het half gesmolten boter.
Klein tactisch dolkske nodig? Moet zeker niet verder zoeken. In´t begin knelt het mes in de schede waardoor verwijderen soms moeilijk is. Dat probleem is opgelost na je eerste slijpbeurt .

Ik ga het gebruiken als speel/werp mesje als vertier in het bos.  

Joli look, léger bien équilibré, semble très robuste.
La lame est un peu courte car c'est une dague de botte. L'avantage c'est que le couteau reste discret.
Aiguisage moyen à la livraison mais corrigé facilement.

Licht en scherp mes voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. Echt een aanrader en er zit ook nog eens een mooie leren schede bij.
