Bought very specifically for a kayak safety knife. The H1 steel is ideal - marine grade rust resistance, very tough and the serrated blade is ideal for cutting ropes etc and mitigates the less than stellar edge holding of flat H1 blades.

Usual Spyderco quality and usual price! It's a beautiful little knife and an excellent addition to my Spyderco collection Have not "used it in anger"yet but I'm sure it will do all that is expected of it
