I’m a retired engineer and have always carried a penknife as the most basic and useful tool. I’ve always considered a locking blade to be the safest form, but with UK laws prohibiting, this knife comes a close second. It has a very positive notch at the open position and also one at 90 degrees which is useful when closing one handed. It’s very easy to open one handed with a smooth but solid feel about It. This knife is light but feels substantial and comfortable in the hand and you’re not aware of the nicely designed skeletal clip. I wouldn’t want the blade any sharper! though the natural hold the design leads you to take makes closure on your hand most unlikely. Overall, great form and function from Spyderco for the niche UK market.

My first UK legal Spyderco slip-joint and I have to say I REALLY enjoy its fit, finish and function. Lean and lightweight yet more than capable for EDT (every day tasks). Al :)
