The Spyderco Endura4 C10PGYW Emerson Opener is a knife that clearly belongs to the famous Spyderco Endura-series, combined with a trick by knife designer Ernest Emerson. The hook on top of the blade can automatically open the blade when you take it out of your pocket. The hook gets stuck on the edge of your trousers pocket. This way, you pull the blade out of the handle, making the knife immediately ready to use.  
  


The handle of this knife is made of FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon). This keeps the weight of the knife down, which you notice. The pocket clip can be mounted in 4 different ways. Both left and right-handed users can use this knife very well.

Lemet is robust wave functie en ring hebben goede grip en werken. Midere punten door de vorm van de snede splijt hij meer dan hij snijd een appel barst open ipv een mooie snede . De pocket clip is meer dan waardeloos 7 08 besteld op  0609 is hij doormidden gebroken waardoor de wave functie niet meer is te gebruiken nu is het wachten op de garantie afhandeling maar ik ga weer terug naar fixedblade

Ein tolles Messer ist halt ein Spyderco, sehr gute Qualität und Rasiermesser scharf. Seit lieferung mein Lieblings Taschenmesser.

Zeer praktisch mes, mooi afgewerkt, slank model en perfect geslepen.
Eenhandig openen gaat super, zowel op de klassieke manier met het gat in het lemmet als op de actievere manier door middel van de "Wave" of Emerson patent. Dit laatste vergt wel wat oefening.
Het wat grotere handvat is uiterst geschikt voor grotere handen, ligt zeer goed in de hand en biedt een goede controle over het mes.
Een aanrader.

Weegt gezien zijn lengte weinig. Dit wordt bereikt door een handvat van kunststof. Was bang dat het daardoor minder stevig zou aanvoelen, maar dit is niet zo. De Emerson (wave) opener werkt perfect. Kortom, mooi, licht, vlijmscherpe sterk mes, perfect voor de hand van de Nederlandse man die vaak iets groter is.
