No kitchen knife is good value in my opinion. But that doesn't mean I don't like nice things... Most of my knives are Wusthof Gourmet series... This one just has such a nice weight and feel... makes a huge difference.

I've been researching a "chefs" knife for a while and decided on the Wusthof classic Ikon. Having trawled the net, "knives and tools" were the most competitive on price so I put the order in and three days later it turned up. It feels great in the hand, well balanced, substantial and slices effortlessly. A great knife and fantastic service.
