Thanks to its lightweight but durable construction, you would almost forget you have it with you. But when the time comes, the excellent cryo-treated blade ensures the job gets done. With a fully left- and right-handed friendly design and strong locking mechanism, the new ANV A200 is a perfect EDC for your daily adventures. And the fact that it also looks incredibly cool is really just a bonus.




The ANV A200BB, DLC Sleipner, Black G10, pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour black. With its blade length of 9 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 12.1 cm in length and it weighs 85 g.



## Sleipner-steel blade
The blade has a length of 9 cm and is made of Sleipner steel, a robust steel type with a nicely balanced composition of carbon, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. As a result, this steel offers excellent sharpness retention as well as toughness, ensuring it won't chip as quickly as some other steel types. This makes Sleipner steel perfect for heavy-duty use.

Moreover, this steel is fairly corrosion resistant thanks to the 8% chromium content, but it's not entirely stainless. Please make sure to clean the knife after use, dry it well and to treat it with oil or wax, especially in moist environments. With a simple [sharpening stone](/en/pt/-skerper-pocket-stone-diamond-ceramic-sharpening-stone-so003.htm), you can easily sharpen the blade back to razor-sharpness – even on the go!



The blade is finished with a DLC coating, which stands for ‘Diamond Like Carbon’. It's a very hard coating that is even harder than the steel. This makes DLC very scratch-resistant, and this coating protects the blade against corrosion. DLC is very hard, but it is also only a thin layer: eventually, you will always see signs of use.



## G10 handle

The ANV A200BB, DLC Sleipner, Black G10, pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 12.1 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Moreover, it is incredibly strong, so it can take a beating.

Insgesamt ein tolles Messer, Material, Verarbeitung, Handling alles auf Top Niveau. Das schärfen müssen die noch lernen, das Messer kommt zwar nicht stumpf aus dem Karton, aber das machen andere besser. Aber wofür hat man Schleifsteine. Im Gegensatz zu dem A100 würde ich dieses Messer sofort nochmal kaufen, einfach nur Top das Teil.
