The **Buck 110 Slim Knife Pro Micarta** is a slim and practical pocket knife for daily use. It is made from top-quality materials and is a worthy carrier of the number 110.



In its primal shape the Buck 110 has namely been the flagship for Buck ever since the 60s. Originally made with brass and wood, but for this 110 Slim Knife Pro Buck used a micarta handle A strong and light-weight material, made from linen and synthetic resin. A lot lighter and slimmer. As such the 110 Slim Knife Pro will easily fit inside your pocket. A great addition is the pocket clip which is perfect for both left and right-handed use because you can change it.



The great thing about the Buck 110 Slim Knife Pro is that Buck upgraded the type of steel. The blade is namely made from CPM S30V steel. This is a premium type of powder steel that retains its sharpness well. What sets Buck apart from the competition that uses the same type of steel is its way of hardening the steel. They use the Paul Bos heat treatment recipe. Expert when it comes to optimizing performance.



You open the Buck 110 Slim Knife Pro with one hand. Because the thumb studs are placed on both side of the blade it is great for best left and right-handed use. When opened the blade is blocked by a solid backlock. The locking mechanism Buck introduced to the world themselves.

Lo mejor de la navaja es la hoja y el tratamiento termico que esta tiene, en particular. Pero lamentablemente tiene carencias de diseño y ajustes. La hoja tiene un poco de movimiento lateral, (esperable ya que el mango es sólo de micarta sin liners de acero) pero también tiene yn poco de movimiento vertical, cosa que no debería por el tipo de seguro que tiene. El mango no es muy comodo para todo tipo de tareas, ya que al ser fino puede provocar fatiga en tareas de precisión más o menos prolongadas. Finalmente para mi el peor defecto, es que los tetones de apertura coinciden con el inicio del filo y dificulta o imposibilita las tareas de precisión con es parte del filo y el prosesamiento de alimentos.
