The **Case Sway Back** is a traditional pocket knife, designed by the famous slipjoint maker Tony Bose. Striking about the Swayback pattern is how, when opened, the knife looks like a wave. The wharncliffe/sheepsfoot blade runs over to the handle in a wavy movement, which is precisely mirrored in shape in relation to the handle. When closed this ensures that the blade and handle seamlessly merge.

 ## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

 The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characterizing about this type of steel is that you can quickly sharpen it and have a razor-sharp knife.

 ## Sycamore Wood

 The handle is made from *Sycamore Wood*. This is plane wood. The pattern in this wood is very distinctive. As such each knife is unique.
