The **Case Winkler Recurve Utility No. 6** is a cool survival knife, designed in cooperation with Harry Bologna. He is a former Navy SEAL with a lot of experience. Based on his input Daniël Winkler from Winkler Knives adjusted the design of his Recurve Utility model. As such this knife is even more versatile. Use it as a survival knife, while hunting or camping.



## 80CrV2 steel blade


The blade is made from 80CrV2 steel. This is an extremely tough kind of steel that retains its sharpness well. Hardened according to Winklers special procedure. Not stainless, so the blade is enhanced with a Caswell finish. A type of special etching that prevents rust. It will form a patina in time to make sure it becomes even more corrosion resistant. The patina makes each knife unique.



The handle is made from micarta. A composite material made from textile and synthetic resin. It offers superior grip and feels great in hand. The handle is nicely shaped. Exactly the right thickness in all the right places. Made for long-term use, without wearing out your hands. The tang protrudes a little at the end of the handle to make sure you can use it as a hammer.



This Case Winkler Recurve Utility comes with a cool leather sheath with belt loop. The sheath is enhanced with a kydex clip with a Zippo lighter. It is included.
