The **Civivi Appalachian Drifter C2015** is a cool and compact gentleman's knife. A traditional, but made from modern materials. The finish is excellent, especially for a knife in this price range. A great knife that won't scare anyone. It is, however, still practical enough to carry out many daily tasks. The blade is enhanced with a thin grind and is therefore amazing to use.



The great thing about this traditional-looking knife is that you open it with the modern flipper. So a one-handed opener. Combined with a slipjoint lock. You can safely carry it in your pocket with the pocket clip.



## Micarta handle


The handle is comprised of steel liners with micarta scales. A composite material from linen and synthetic resin. It looks amazing and offers enough grip.



## Blade from CPM S35VN steel.


The blade is made from CPM S35VN-steel. This is a great American type of steel that retains its sharpness well. Stainless, quite tough and a remarkably good type of steel for a knife in this price range.

L'absence de verrouillage ne pose problème que si l'on utilise le couteau à des fins qui ne lui sont pas destinées.

Sa lame très, très fine en fait un couteau de table ou de précision et n'incite pas à forcer sur l'articulation.

L'action d'ouverture/fermeture avec me front flipper est fluide et ludique.

Par rapport à son prédécesseur (le rustic gent), l'esthétisme des plaquettes est en revanche clairement en retrait, et je regrette que civivi ait remplacé la pochette à clip par un simple clip de poche.

Durch 42a einfach mein go-to Messer. 

Saubere Klinge, schönes finish, s35vn, wunderschön, flick ist sauber und macht Spaß, Slipjoint, Hohlschliff - also alles in allem absolut empfehlenswertes Messer, wer 42a konform unterwegs sein möchte.
