The **CRKT Burnout 4123K** is a cool pocket knife, designed by MJ Lerch. It is a sleek and practical pocket knife. The pointed tip is great for detailed tasks and because of the jimping on the spine you can also apply a lot of pressure during the more demanding tasks. Designer MJ Lerch is the partner of designer Matthew Lerch. It is therefore not that surprising that some lines look very similar to his design style.

 You quickly open the Burnout with the thumb stud. It opens faster than you might think because of the Outburst spring in the handle. This *assisted opener* helps it out. When opened a strong framelock will block the blade. The addition of the *overtravel* stop is very clever. It prevents the framelock from overstretching to make sure the lock will stay in great shape for years to come.

 The show side of the handle is made from G10 with a carbon fibre top layer. As such you benefit from the looks of carbon fibre and the amazing price of G10. A clever choice.
