The **CRKT M16-03S Classic** is a pocket knife designed by Kit Carson. This American designer used to be a soldier and unfortunately passed away in 2014. He was known for designing very solid and functional pocket knives. You can clearly see this design style in this pocket knife. The M16-03S Classic pocket knife uses a InterFrame construction with stunning 6061 aluminium scales. The result is an incredibly strong handle that feels great in hand. The razor-sharp blade is made from stainless Japanese AUS8 steel. This type of steel is easy to sharpen.

Unique about this pocket knife is the AutoLAWKS safety system. It is basically a double lock making it almost impossible to accidentally close the blade. You can easily open the Carson with the help of the flipper. This flipper also protects your fingers after opening the blade. The practical pocket clip can be worn left and right and tip-down and tip-up. As such the CRKT M16-03S Classic is perfect for daily use.

Had al de aus 6 versie die half gekarteld is (lees : was). Maw ik heb de vorige versie versleten door veelvuldig gebruik en bij te slijpen. AUS8 is een beter en hardere staalsoort en de kartel bood mij geen meerwaarde. Voordeel van de vorige versie is dat de dubbele vergrendeling automatisch is. Bij deze versie is het lemmet automatisch geblokkeerd maar moet je de dubbele vergrendeling manueel instellen. Deze versie is niet alleen mooier het is ook lichter.
