The knife arrived with minor abrasions on the side of the blade, even though I specifically asked the staff to check for scratches beforehand. After some basic use—just opening and closing the knife to break in the locking mechanism—I started hearing a rattling noise when the knife was closed. It turned out the sound was coming from the stop pin. The only fix I could find was tightening the pivot, which did eliminate the rattling, but it also caused the blade to shift off-center when closed. For a knife at this price point, and one that was supposed to be brand new, this is completely unacceptable. I’ve purchased several other knives from this store in the past and had to return them due to defects and scratches—some were even unusable. This will be the last time I deal with them.
