This **paring knife from the Arne Line from Due Cigni** impresses cooking enthusiasts. The remarkable shape of the blade and the curved handle (to prevent fatigue) make this knife look unique. Not surprising considering the knives from this collection were designed by Danish knife maker Jens Ansø. As is common for Ansø designs, perfection and function are key! And you can tell when you look at the knife.

 The handle of this knife is, compared to the larger knives from this collection, fine and subtle in terms of size. Made from HPL, the abbreviation for High Pressure Laminate. Comprised of multiple layers that were compressed together. As such you end up with a very dense, hard and stable material. As such the handle is dishwasher proof. We do, however, recommend cleaning the knife by hand to maintain the sharpness of the blade.

 The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. A well-known Scandinavian type of steel that is produced by Sandvik. This type of steel is strong, stainless and retains its sharpness well. Specifically designed as a steel for knives.
