First time I've owned a set of knives in a block (Like Americans always have on hand in horror movies). The knives are gorgeous, extremely sharp and very nice in the hand. Full tang means they are not going to get loose handles, also the block is very solidly made and finished. All the knives I'll ever need. Awesome set for the price.
