The **Extrema Ratio Corvo** is one of the most unusual Extrema Ratio knives. The Corvo is a traditional Chilean knife whose origin is unknown. The story goes that the Spanish Conquistadors took this knife with them during their voyages of discovery in the New World. In terms of shape, the knife also corresponds to the Jabiya, an Arab dagger.

The Corvo comes in many shapes and sizes. This Extrema Ratio version has an interesting curve. Its curvature makes it a bit more difficult to sharpen than a knife with a straight edge. But you do get a lot in return: its curvature “pulls in” the material to be cut.

The MOLLE-compatible nylon sheath allows you to carry the knife on your gear.

## Böhler N690 steel blade

The blade is made from Austrian Böhler N690 steel. This is a stainless steel with long sharpness retention that is also used for surgical tools. N690 is highly durable and can be sharpened until razor sharp.

## Forprene handle

The handle is made from Forprene, a durable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) which has a rubbery feel. This gives you a firm, comfortable grip on the handle, regardless of the situation you're in.
