The **Extrema Ratio Ermes Operativo** is a special commemorative knife, designed in collaboration with the Special Operative Helicopter Regiment (R.E.O.S.) which is part of the Italian Air Force. This is a helicopter unit that supports special forces during missions.

The shape of the guard is inspired by the wings of the regiment's military emblem.

The kydex and nylon MOLLE-compatible sheath allows you to carry the knife on your gear.

## Böhler N690 steel blade

The blade is made from Austrian Böhler N690 steel. This is a stainless steel with long sharpness retention that is also used for surgical tools. N690 is highly durable and can be sharpened until razor sharp.

## FRN handle

The handle is made from fibre-reinforced nylon, or FRN. FRN is a glass-fibre reinforced plastic. It is made up of glass fibres that are drenched in polyester resin. This makes the material very strong, but also very lightweight.
