The **Fox Suru Alu FX-526** is a light-weight EDC knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes. Due to its size and relatively friendly design the Suru Alu is the perfect knife to always keep close. Its 6.0 cm long blade is made from stainless Böhler N690Co steel. Fortunately you can quickly sharpen it to make sure you don't have to worry when using it.



You can clearly recognize Voxnaes' hand in the Suru. From the subtle dent in the handle to the comet-shaped thumb hole: the knife radiates Danish design. In addition to the thumb hole you can also use the flipper to quickly open the Fox Suru. When opened the blade is blocked by a solid framelock. To make sure it will function for years to come it is enhanced with a steel insert. It prevents wear and tear in the long run.



The handle is made from aluminium, enhanced with a coating. By adding the parts in a drum with stones you end up with a weathered look and feel. As such traces of use don't stand out.



From peeling an apple or preparing a lunch to cutting cardboard to pieces or other packaging: the Fox Suru can handle it.

Schitterend EDC mesje. Klein maar zeer fijn. Kan alles aan. Moet even inlopen maar das normaal. Enige minpunt was de geslepen snede uit de doos. Of liever gezegd de niet geslepen snede uit de doos. Voor een mes uit deze prijsklasse was dit ver beneden peil. Bij de papiertest scheurde hij een A4tje in stukken ipv ook maar iets erin te snijden. Dit is uiteraard goed zelf te verhelpen nadat ik hem een tijdje langs de strop  heb gehaald. Hij doet nu waar hij voor gemaakt is en dat is snijden. Echter van een merk als dit verwacht je wel iets meer aandacht voor het slijpen af fabriek.
