The **GiantMouse ACE Jutland** is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes. For this knife, these Danish master designers were inspired by the extremely popular GM8, which was sold out in no-time. With the Jutland, this design is once again available for everyone. 

The Jutland is a real hunting pocket knife. The clippoint shaped blade is perfect for eviscerating game and other cutting tasks surrounding the camp. Because the blade has a finger groove you are close to the blade, which gives great control for more precise cutting tasks.

## GiantMouse ACE Jutland Vanadis 4E steel

The blade is made of Vanadis 4 Extra steel, which consistently excels in endurance tests. There are few steels available that retain their sharpness as long as Vanadis 4 Extra. In addition, it is very tough and can therefore handle its own. Normally, Vanadis 4 Extra is used almost exclusively by a handful of small, artisan knife makers, making it hard to find. It is therefore absolutely fantastic that a brand like GiantMouse created such a beautiful knife with this steel.

The handle is made from Burlap Micarta. An incredibly strong type of material that feels great in hand and is incredibly light-weight. It is made from burlap and synthetic resin. At first glance the micarta might look a little pale, but after using it, the oils in your hands will make sure the micarta will become darker. It takes over the traces of use, making the knife uniquely yours! Between the micarta scales, you will find steel liners. On one side a liner lock has been added that will keep the blade in place when opened.

## GiantMouse ACE-line

The GiantMouse ACE-line was developed to meet the ever-growing demand for GiantMouse knives. After a couple of limited edition knives that were sold out in the blink of an eye the demand continued to grow. Hence the ACE-collection. Designs with the same cool style, using the same premium steel, but more accessible to all.

Pro: beautiful design, great blade, solid hand placement.

Cons: the quality of the burlap micarta is simply poor. Many rough points, on borders and on sides. Not acceptable for a 300 euro knife.
The linerlock is really weak and engages only a couple of millimeters on the blade back.

First and last GiantMouse knife for me.
