The KA-BAR BK9 Combat Bowie is the result of a successful collaboration between knife designer Ethan Becker and KA-BAR. The knife is designed to be as strong as possible and you can tell that by its weight. This knife can definitely take a beating! The blade is made of 1095 carbon steel, which does not make it stainless. Luckily, the blade has a black coating making maintenance a lot easier.
