The **Kershaw Leek 1660CF** is a deluxe and high-quality version of the famous Leek, designed by Ken Onion. This compact and slim gentleman's knife is less innocent than it appears. Its super strong spring opens the blade in a flash, which means you always have a knife to hand. A very cool feature!




What's special about this variant of the Leek is that Kershaw has opted for a few premium materials that you wouldn't always expect from this brand. The handle is made from stunning carbon fibre, a deluxe material that many of us know from the worlds of racing and cycling. It's lightweight and super strong. The blade is made from CPM154 steel. This is a type of powder steel that originated in the construction of jet engines. Not very conventional, but certainly very good. You can expect excellent sharpness retention and excellent corrosion resistance from this specimen.




You activate the strong assisted opening with the flipper or thumb studs. The blade then flies out of the handle, to be secured by the liner lock with a reassuring “click”. There is an extra catch at the end of the handle to prevent you from opening it unintentionally.

One of the best knife designs, congratulations to Ken Onion for it. I own several brands already; this model is one of the best. Highly recommended: lightweight, slim, can be opened quickly, steel material is a good compromise in every term. Sure, I favor K390 steel over CPM154, but still, it's really great. just one weakness: black painted clip. Titanium or plain stainless clip would be a better choice for this knife.

Ben heel blij met de keuze voor deze uitvoering van de leek vanwege de carbonfilter greep en het goede roestvaste cpm154-staal. De leek bovendien is een reuze handig mes met een goed werkende  flipper, waardoor het mesje razendsnel opent,en een af fabriek behoorlijk scherp snijvlak. De vorm van het lemmet maakt dit mes reuze handig voor het openen van oa brieven en pakketjes en draag ik altijd bij mij omdat hij ook erg licht is.Hij is niet goedkoop voor zo'n klein mesje, maar toch wel zijn geld meer dan waard.
