The **LionSteel Willy** is a practical fixed knife, perfect for small outdoor tasks. It's also suitable for small EDC tasks like opening letters. The knife was designed by Gianluigi 'Wilson' Simonella, an Italian knife maker. What's impressive is the combination of high production quality and attention to detail, as we've come to expect from LionSteel.

## LionSteel Willy blade

The blade of the Willy is made from M390 steel. This is an Austrian type of super steel. One of the best high-end choices at the moment. M390 excels when it comes to sharpness retention and corrosion resistance. 

## LionSteel Willy handle

The Willy is part of the SOLID series. This series consists of knives with integral handles. That means that the handles are made from one piece of milled material. This finish is not easy to pull off, especially not with a handle as small as the Willy's. The handle is made from olive wood. As a result, the handle has stunning markings, giving the knife a very luxurious look and feel. In spite of its small size, the knife feels great in hand. With medium-sized hands, you have a 'three finger grip' that feels very firm thanks to the ergonomic shape of the handle.
