Maglite XL200 LED 3x AAA Black

This Maglite XL200 LED-torch is quite a tactical model, compared to the other torches from the LED-series. You can select one of the five light modes by using the tactical pressure switch at the back of the torch. These light modes can be adjusted with a flick of your wrist. With this torch, you have access to an adjustable light mode, a strobe mode, a Nite Lite-mode, a signal mode and an SOS-mode.

Of these modes, the Nite Lite-mode is the most special. This mode ensures that, whenever you move the torch, it will automatically switch to a high light output. Whenever the torch is aimed at one and the same spot, the light output will decrease, to save battery power.

In the normal mode, when you press the switch, you can twist your wrist, affecting the light output. This way you can determine the light output and adjust it exactly the way you want it. You can use the same technique to adjust the frequency of the strobe mode, or the light output in the SOS-mode. You may have to get used to it in the beginning.

In the SOS-mode, the torch signals an SOS-signal in morse code. Just like with all other models in the LED-series, you can adjust the focus of the beam to the situation that you are in.
