The Marttiini Eagle Knife 555010W was the first animal-themed knife in Marttiini's range and is still one of the most popular models. The eagle head on the end of the handle was designed by renowned jewellery designer Jorma Laine in the mid-1970s and quickly became a success, leading to the production of other knives with brass, bronze or copper attachments.
