The **Medford Praetorian T DLC Tanto Blade, Faced/Flamed Bronze Tiger Stripes** is an extraordinary pocket knife. The Medford Praetorian the most famous knife produced by Medford Knives. Large, robust and rock-solid: the Praetorian is it all. 100% made in the United States, from American materials, by a veteran-run company. Medford enhanced this version with a bronze anodized titanium handle with an 'aqua blue tremors' effect. The hardware (screws and pocket clip) are enhanced with a unique pattern, which is done by hand. The end of the handle has a glass breaker.

The blade is made from CPM S45VN. The hollow grind on the blade was applied by hand. This is a unique feature: only few producers apply a hollow grind by hand. With the thumb slot you can easily open the blade. At first this might take some getting used to. When opened, a solid framelock keeps the blade securely in place. Medford pressed the stop-pin in the blade. As a result, it symmetrically leans against the handle. This adds strength.

CPM S45VN is a premium, stainless type of steel. For years, this has been one of the most popular types of steel on the market. For a stainless steel, it is fairly tough and relatively easy to sharpen.

Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. It takes approximately one year for Medford to ship their knives.
