The **Olamic Wayfarer 247** is a super cool pocket knife, made by Olamic Cutlery in California, USA. When you flip it open and hold the solid titanium handle in your hand, you can feel that this is a high-quality hunk of metal. Truly something special! Made to be used, but at the same elegant and exclusive enough for your display case.



The Olamic Wayfarer 247 has a titanium handle and a blade made from Böhler M390 steel. M390 is one of the most popular premium steels at the moment. It has excellent sharpness retention and great corrosion resistance. The titanium frame lock keeps the blade in place when opened. It has a steel insert with ceramic detent ball, and the blade runs on steel ball bearings with a steel interface between the bearings and the titanium handle. The spine of the blade has a sizeable false edge, also known as a *swedge*. This keeps the weight down, and also adds some exciting lines to the blade. There is a pear-shaped thumb hole just in front of the handle. This allows you to open the blade with your thumb, although we doubt you'll ever get tired of the extremely smooth flipping mechanism.



The Sheepcliffe blade is a combination of a Wharncliffe and a sheepsfoot shape. This particular specimen has a cool dark acid stonewash. There is a dark sandblasted effect on the handle, and it also has a beautiful timascus inlay and pocket clip. The blue anodised hardware and backspacer match the blue accents of the timascus inlay and clip.
