The **Real Steel Banshee 3211** is a cool fixed knife, designed by Poltergeist Designs. When you look at the knife you immediately notice the hook-shaped blade. As such the knife is very efficient. The material you wish to cut is namely pulled 'into' the edge.



The blade is made from D2 tool steel. This is a strong type of steel that retains its sharpness well. It is also quite tough. Do, however, be careful with moisture and acids and salt: D2 is not completely stainless. However, with a little maintenance you won't be bothered by it too much.



The handle is made from G10. You notice that the ergonomics were carefully thought through. The hook-shaped blade is very efficient, but you won't want to the tip to get caught behind something, making the knife slip from your hand. A couple large finger grooves make sure it stays put! A 'reverse grip' is also easy to use.



You use the Banshee when opening boxes or packaging. It excels at both. It comes in a sleek kydex sheath with neck cord. As such you can carry it as a neck knife. We, however, think it might be a little too big as a neck knife, so we recommend using a Blade-Tech or UltiClip clip.
