The **Real Steel Bushcraft Surival** is a robust survival knife for an amazing price. With a blade thickness of 4.5 mm this is definitely a knife you can rely on. Real Steel kept the shapes nice and subtle. No unnecessary frills: a simple and good knife.


This version of the Real Steel Bushcraft Plus has a flat-grind blade. Even though it is called ‘Bushcraft’ Real Steel focuses on survival enthusiasts with this knife because of the grind.


In terms of steel Real Steel chose Sandvik 14C28N, a stainless type of steel that requires little maintenance in the field. The spine of the blade is sharp at the edges. As a result you can easily prepare tinder or use a firesteel.


The handle is made from G10. Because of the texture of the G10 you have enough grip and the shape of the handle is made as such that you can use it for longer periods of time. Because the handle is only slightly square it won’t roll from your hand. The basis shape, however, is fairly round. As a result you won’t be bothered by ‘hot spots’ during long-term use.


With an outdoor knife such as this one the way you carry it is just as important. For that reason Real Steel has included a nylon sheath with a kydex insert. MOLLE-compatible and can be worn both vertically and horizontally.

For the price ... It's a bomb.
Bought It around 50e in discount, It's nothing fancy but the ratio efficiency/compacity is just amazin, I totally love It.
The 14C28N is a bit soft, but very easy to resharpen.
I got some oxydation stains, a bit surprising for some stainless steel.
The sheath is absolutely huge and ... not good.
I made one in kydex and equiped It with a teklock, now It's my to go knife for outdoor activities, I totally love It.

J'aime la simplicité de sa forme, son acier, sa taille, sa poignée, et donc son poids, sa pochette.. Et dans un prix très raisonnable ! 
Mais: Une seul côté de dévisse pour accéder au creux du manche alors que des têtes de vis sont apparentes des deux côtés.. Vis bloquées et abîmées pour ma part, dommage car il y a une notice de montage de tous les autres couteaux Real Steel dans la boîte 😭
En attente d'une reponse pour recevoir deux nouvelles vis.
Serieusement, c'est mon couteau préféré malgré des vidéos qui critiquent le simple fait qu'il soit fait en Asie.. Avec de l'acier d'un fabricant Suédois mais d'une recette européenne, que les crétins dévalorisent car ils ont eux aussi vu un idiot qui critiquait deja sans savoir que l'imbecile précédant etc etc..
Tres bon prix, couteau impeccable malgré ce defaut de conception des vis, et un design tellement simple qu'il est le seul de sa categorie à me plaire à ce point, devant une dizaine de couteau plus chers que je possède

Dit mes aangeschaft om reden dat ik naast mijn jachtmes een iets groter mes nodig had. Als echte Fällkniven fan natuurlijk eerst naar een mest uit de S1 serie gezocht. Tot mijn oog op dit Real Steel mes viel. De lovende recensies hebben me overgehaald om dit mes te bestellen. Met de KnivesandTool service kan ik me geen buil vallen dacht ik! Voldoet hij niet dan kan ik alsnog voor de Fällkniven messen gaan. Na ontvangst het mes goed bekeken en ik was direct onder de indruk. Vorm en afwerking is echt goed. de kwaliteit straalt er af. Nog niet zwaar in de praktijk getest maar het eerste gebruik ging boven verwachting en het mes bleef scherp. Enige nadeel is, in mijn optiek, de nylon schede. Gelukkig zit er een Kydex binnenwerk in waar ik me prima mee kan redden. in mijn optiek een prima mes en goedkoper alternatief voor de duurdere merken!!
