The **Real Steel Luna Lite** is a modern slipjoint pocket knife, designed by Jakub Wieczorkiewicz from Poltergeist Designs. The Luna is light-weight, razor-sharp and legal in many countries. You namely open it with two hands, and a complete lock is missing. There is only a slipjoint that offers some resistance.



The great thing about the Real Steel Luna is that the slipjoint is enhanced with a separate half-stop. This half-stop is not a new concept. People have been adding this for hundreds of year. Real Steel, however, did one thing slightly different. The half-stop comes earlier than the regular half-stops. As such your fingers are safer, and it enables you to close the knife with one hand.



The handle is made from G10. The blade is made from D2 steel. A tough type of steel that retains its sharpness well. You do need to be careful with acids, salt and moisture: D2 is not completely stainless.



The slim deep-carry pocket clip finishes the knife! As such you can discretely carry it in your pocket.

Nice little knife, came sharp out of the box. You'll need to resharpen it quite often for it is it not made out of a high-end steel. But absolutely worth the money. Cheers

Erg fijne moderne slipjoint met een originele groef om het mes te openen. De tussenstop die eerder komt dan halverwege het uitklappen is ook erg prettig en veilig. Door het ontbreken van liners is het mes erg licht en voelde in het begin wat goedkoop aan. Echter het is momenteel mijn favoriete EDC mes die ik gebruik op m'n werk in een kantoor/laboratorium omgeving. Het mes schrikt niet af, valt nauwelijks op door de deep-carry clip, je voelt 'm niet doordat het mes zo licht is en doet z'n werk prima (fruit snijden, dozen openen, slangetjes en touw doorsnijden etc.). Tot nu toe blijft het mes prima scherp. 
De spanning van de "veer" is ook perfect. Mijn Manly Wasp opent bijv. een stuk zwaarder (net iets te zwaar). Voor 27 euro krijg je veel waar voor je geld. De duurdere versies zou ik persoonlijk niet kopen. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding vind ik juist het grootste pluspunt. Ik overweg er nog 1 aan te schaffen in een andere kleur, omdat dit zo'n fijn mesje is.

Agréable surprise : excellent canif très bien conçu et très léger. La forme de la lame est top ! Il a remplacé tout le reste...
