The **SOG Kiku XR** is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Kiku Matsuda. This Japanese knife maker is known for his extravagant blade shapes and grinds. This SOG Kiku is also enhanced with a special compound grind, combined with a recurve and a basis tanto shape. Very special, and typical for Kiku.



The blade is made from decent CTS-XHP steel. An excellent American type of steel. Because of the cryogenic treatment XHP steel excels when it comes to sharpness retention. A more than excellent choice! The handle is made from micarta. As such you will even have enough grip over the knife when you wear gloves. Micarta is incredibly strong and weighs next to nothing.



## SOG XR Lock


SOG enhanced this pocket knife with the XR lock. This is an extremely strong lock to make sure your fingers are safe. The great thing about the XR-lock is that it is great for both left and right-handed use. You can easily do so with one hand. So let's say you are standing on a ladder and quickly need your knife you have nothing to worry about!
