The Spartan Blades Harsey Nessmuk, made in collaboration with KA-BAR Knives, embodies the legacy of George Washington Sears, who popularised canoeing and camping and championed wilderness conservation. The design was inspired by his preferences for knives, which in turn are based on his outdoor expertise.

What made me buy this knife was the blade shape...very similar to a sheep legging blade...great for legging deer or anything for that matter....strong and heavy for cutting brisket and removing legs...shanks...just a great all round hunting knife...the scabbard is perfect for relocation inthe dark and when it gets blood and fat inside just run under hot tap...the only thing to made it perfect....make a super steel version...ie ...cpm or elmax...and don't paint it black...
