The **Spartan Blades Pallas** is a large, lightweight pocket knife, designed by Curtis Iovito. In terms of materials, ergonomics and design, this is a truly outstanding knife. Everything has been well thought out, and Spartan hasn't made any compromises anywhere.



The most remarkable feature of the Spartan Pallas is the locking mechanism. It has a solid button lock, which is a robust lock that (as the name suggests!) simply works like a button. The hardened steel stopper falls into a semi-circular recess in the blade at the back. It's super strong, and Iovito has designed it in such a way that the more it is broken in, the better it will close.



For optimal durability, Spartan has made all the necessary hardware out of hardened 416 steel. From the washers that sit between the GTC Alpha ball bearings and the aluminium frame, to all of the screws. The titanium pocket clip features the characteristic Spartan arrow.



The blade is made from the renowned American CPM S35VN steel. This is an excellent steel that was developed in collaboration with knifemaker Chris Reeve, S35VN retains its sharpness well and is also corrosion-resistant. You open the blade with the flipper or the thumb studs. Because of the ball bearings, it moves really well. The button lock creates a reassuring “ping” when opened.
