The Spyderco Ladybug 3 K390 LF3K390 is a very compact knife and a worthy member of the Spyderco family. Despite its size and the friendly design you shouldn't underestimate the Ladybug. The blade, that is locked with a backlock, is definitely meant to be used. The ridges on the spine of the blade ensure that you have a lot of control over your movements.

Es mi primer Spyderco y me ha dejado una muy buena impresión. Desde los materiales del mango hasta la ergonomía, para ser una navaja tan pequeña. En mi caso considero que es necesario ponerle una rabiza para tener un mejor agarre. El acero es mas suseptible a la oxidación que otros aceros al carbono que poseo y si bien parece retener muy bien el filo, en una hoja tan pequeña no puedo llegara aapreciarlo tan bien. El bloqueo funciona muy bien, así como la apertura y cierre a una sola mano.

I bought it as a cheap way to try out K390 steel, not really having a need or imagined use for the knife. Regardless I've grown to enjoy it a great deal. Ergonomics and the amount knife you get for such a small size is surprising. I also worried that the steel would be difficult to sharpen, but it isn't. Using DMT and Spyderco medium stones it's about comparable with D2 and VG10 of good hardness, slightly easier than S30V.
