The design of the Folsom is sleek and practical: utilitarian. No unnecessary frills: simply a great worker's knife, wearing a tailored suit. You open the Folsom with the triangular thumb hole. This can easily be done with one hand. The blade is made from CTS BD1 steel. This is a type of steel that retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. CTS BD1 is also stainless and therefore doesn't require a lot of maintenance. The handle is made from micarta. That's a composite material of linen and synthetic resin. The contours ensure that the knife feels great in hand.

Not only the knife looks amazing. The box is also perfect in all its simplicity. A milled wooden box in a tight cardboard sleeve. The knife also comes with a felt storage case. Again with that bright green James accent.

Beau design mais le corps en G10 se patine en une semaine de porter dans la poche du pantalon et donne un aspect sale.
Très déçu je possède des couteaux qui n’ont jamais vieilli comme cela.

J’étais intrigué par cette marque et le rabais important sur celui-ci m’as définitivement convaincu. Expédié le jour même avec UPS la réception a été rapide. Emballage au top comme d’habitude. La pochette et le petit écrin en bois sont de belles idées ! Le couteau en lui même est de belle facture, bien fini et l’aspect est qualitatif. L’ouverture est assez ferme mais très correcte pour un modèle neuf. Le tranchant est plus que correct. La prise en main est très bien, et pour moi très bon edc en raison de son épaisseur. Je recommande.
