this kitchen knife is enhanced with a narrower blade. The main advantage is that
it is ergonomic and feels perfect in hand. The dimples -little
dents on the edge of the blade - create little
air pockets that ensure that the product does not stick to the blade.

## Wüsthof Classic blade: razor-sharp stainless steel


The blade made from chromium-vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15) is forged from one solid piece of steel. It is sharpened according to Wüsthof’s PEtec technology. This means that for each blade a sharpening angle is determined with the help of a computer. Afterwards it is precisely sharpened on a wet sharpening stone. After thorough inspection each knife leaves the production line, ready for a life of intensive use.


Wüsthof processes the steel in a specific way to make sure it has a high hardness of 58 Rockwell. As such the knife retains its sharpness for a really long time. However, if you notice that the knife is not as sharp as it used to be, all you have to do is move it over a honing steel. The result is a razor-sharp knife that is amazing to use.


## Wüsthof Classic handle: sustainable and hygienic


This knife is a combination of a forged blade and an ergonomic handle made from black POM, a very sustainable type of plastic. The handle can withstand all substances you find in the kitchen. The handle was traditionally and seamlessly riveted to the blade with three rivets. As such dirt can never accumulate in between the blade and the handle. The crop protects your fingers from unnecessary contact with the edge. What more could you possibly ask for?


## Wüsthof Classic: the classic Wüsthof collection


The Classic is the most extensive Wüsthof collection on the market today. It is comprised of over 80 different kitchen knives, amongst which different sizes of chef’s knives, bread knives and carving knives. Because this collection has the most versions of all possible knives, you can easily comprise your own perfect knife set. A knife set with a knife block of chef’s case is, of course, also an option.

Zeer prettig mes om mee te werken. Is vlijmscherp. Alleen het feit dat er niks aan blijft kleven geld niet voor elk product wat je er mee snijd. Des ondanks is het een top mes. Ook de service van knivesandtools bevalt me erg goed. Al meerdere malen wat besteld en altijd op tijd geleverd en de juiste spullen.

Een handig mes voor vele keukendoeleinden.
Snijden van groenten is een makkie met dit mes, en het  is wat lichter dan een koksmes of santokimes wat voor sommige mensen een voordeel kan zijn. Ik vind het een prima mes maar toch blijft mijn santoki favoriet.
Toch een prima aanvulling in mijn messenblok.
