The **Wüsthof Silverpoint pastry knife 23 cm** ensures that you can cut bread, cake and pastries without leaving behind any crumbs. But you can also easily cut large pieces of fruit, vegetables and fibrous meat with this multi-functional serrated knife.


This pastry knife is made from stainless steel and the ergonomically shaped handle is made from a top-quality type of synthetic plastic. Very hygienic and it offers you extra grip as you cut wet products. The plastic also ensures that the knives are dishwasher proof, but we do not recommend cleaning them in the dishwasher.

## Wüsthof Silverpoint collection


The blades of the knives from the Silverpoint collection are cut from a single sheet of X50CrMoV15. This remarkable production process ensures that these knives are, in comparison to other Wüsthof collections, very affordable. Because of the plastic handles the knives weigh next to nothing. This is an advantage for any amateur chef, but also if you are planning to use the knife for a longer period of time. Because the knives are light-weight and razor-sharp they are easy and amazing to use!

I first met this Wusthof Silverpoint Confectioners's Knife on a bakery course and I was so impressed by it's cutting ability that I promptly order one for my own use.  I now own two in difference  lengths.  I use them for cutting bread and cakes.  Slashing the top of my home made loaf to allow oven spring prior to baking and splitting sponge cakes for filling. It is exceptionally sharp and well balanced to hold.
