The **Böker Magnum Japanese Iris 01RY322** is a slim EDC pocket knife, for a great price. The name already suggests that the design was inspired by a classic Japanese knife. The Kwaiken. The straight spine and pointed tip are directly derived from this design. You quickly open this knife with the flipper and a linerlock blocks it when opened.

 The scales are made from light-weight aluminium. Its solidity comes from the steel liners. The blade is made from 440C steel. Easy to sharpen and stainless. A great knife for daily tasks, or for in your display case. And all that for an amazing price.

Aantrekkelijk mes in Japanese kwaiken-stijl. Kwam heel scherp uit de doos. Een slank mes dat niettemin goed in de hand ligt en ook enig gewicht heeft. Helaas was het lemmet na normaal gebruik al snel niet meer gecentreerd en kwam het bovendien ook los te zitten. Dat laatste kon ik wel oplossen door het lemmet weer wat aan te spannen. De snelle eenhandige opening is leuk, maar de linerlock kan mij niet overtuigen. Niettemin een mooi en scherp mes voor een betaalbare prijs, dat afhankelijk van je voorkeuren een prima mes kan zijn voor licht dagelijks gebruik.
