I am a knife novice , just getting into survival and bushcraft, so i will not be escaping from any downed helicopters anytime soon (apparently what this knife was designed for!!) This knife is heavy , so good for chopping; you can make tinder really fast. Great grippy handle. The 'break glass 'point means that it is not so easy to hammer this knife from the handle end.(you can hammer it but risk dulling the point) Not sure if the point will come in useful for other things but i expect it would. I am expecting this knife to be indestructible, so will update the review in ...10 years!
