The Miyabi 5000FCD gyoth 34684-181 is chef's knife with a blade length of 18 cm. The knife has been made in the Zwillig J.A. Henckels factory in Seki, Japan.

 ## About the Miyabi 5000FCD-series

 The Miyabi 5000FCD series combines a magnificent design with the use of high-quality materials. The knives have a Fc61 core, surrounded by 48 layers of damask steel. Thanks to a special Friodur ice-hardening process, the blades are extremely robust with a hardness of 61 HRC.

 **Honbazuke-style grind** The blade is symmetrically sharpened in a traditional Honbazuke manner. Here each knife is sharpened and stropped by hand in three stages. The sharpness obtained from this is retained for a long time by the hardness of each knife.

 **Handle** The D-shaped handle is just like the blade it really something. The black pakka wood gives the handle an exclusive look. All thanks to the decorative red ring finish and the beautiful mosaic pin.

 **Zwilling Japan** The Miyabi collection is produced by Zwilling Japan and is the ultimate combination of German decency and traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

Mooi mes voelt vertrouwd aan ligt goed in de hand en snijt enorm  na het snijden afspoelen en met olijfolie onvrijven en blijft als nieuw. keek er al een paar jaar naar uit om deze investering te doen en na een tijd er toch voor gegaan maar zeker zen geld waart in de keuken het is mijn pronkstuk  ik raad het zeker aan binnenkort komt er nog eentje van bij met een stompe neus maar eerst nog effe sparen 

Dit is het mes dat gebruikt wordt door Jeroen Meus, een Belgisch culinair expert! Hij beval dit mes aan op het internet.
Bevalt het aan de verwachtingen? Uitstekend! Dit geldt echter niet voor de vingers: Let goed op wat je doet!
En neem een slijpcursus; dit is geen gewoon mes!


Geweldig mooi, fijn en scherp mes van kwaliteit.

Het mes kwam vanuit de fabriek niet super netjes geslepen, wel super scherp. Nadat ik dit melde bij Knives and Tools werd er direct aangeboden om het mes kosteloos op te sturen zodat deze opnieuw geslepen zou worden. Het  mes was daarna binnen een week weer terug en perfect geslepen. Geweldige service!
