The **Nitecore P20iX** is a tactical EDC flashlight with a beam of up to 4000 lumens. It is the improved version of the Nitecore P20i, but almost twice as powerful! As such the light is perfect for law enforcement, police and soldiers. It is enhanced with a daily mode with 7 light modes, and a tactical mode with 5 light modes. 

The Nitecore P20iX works with four CREE XP-L2 V6 LED lights that provide you with a beam distance of 221 metres, while the Nitecore P20i only had one LED light. It works with the included 21700i Li-ion battery, but also with two CR123 batteries. The end cap of this light is enhanced with two switches: a tactical switch and the 'strobe ready' button. With this last button you activate the strobe or turbo mode, even when the light is turned off. The light is also enhanced with a memory function (only in the daily mode) to make sure you can always directly use the mode last used.

## Light modes for the Nitecore P20iX with a 21700 battery

This flashlight is enhanced with different light modes. When you use a 21700 li-ion battery with a power of 5000aAh it can produce the following amount of lumens:

* Turbo: 4000 lumens, maximum burn time of 30 minutes*, 12200 candela
* Highers: 1700 lumens, maximum burn time 2 hours, 5250 candela
* High: 850 lumens, maximum burn time 2 hours and 30 minutes, 2670 candela
* Medium: 300 lumens, maximum burn time 7 hours and 15 minutes, 920 candela
* Low: 50 lumens, maximum burn time 38 hours, 150 candela
* Ultra-low: 2 lumens, maximum burn time 350 lumens, 5 candela
* Strobe: 4000 lumens


## Light modes for the Nitecore P20iX with 2 CR123 batteries

This flashlight is enhanced with different light modes. If you use 2 CR123 batteries the light will have the following lumens at its disposal:

* Higher: 1060 lumens, maximum burn time 1 hour, 3360 candela
* Medium: 300 lumens, maximum burn time 3 hours and 30 minutes, 920 candela
* Low: 50 lumens, maximum burn time 14 hours, 150 candela
* Ultra-low: 2 lumens, maximum burn time 120 hours, 5 candela
* Strobe: 1060 lumens

*The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

## Prevent deeply-discharged batteries

Are you not planning to use your flashlight for a while? In that case, it's best to unscrew the tailcap (the bottom end of the handle) a few turns. This will prevent your battery from becoming too deeply discharged, which can happen if the circuit of the battery stays in contact with the flashlight without being used or recharged in the meantime.  A deeply discharged battery cannot always be revived and recharged, which would be a shame!

Do you have a flashlight with a built-in battery? Then make sure to charge your flashlight at least once every 3-4 months, even when not in use. This prevents the battery from becoming too deeply discharged, and it's also good for the lifespan of your battery!

Commandé le 30 décembre fin de journée, colis reçu le 31 décembre vers 13h chez moi en Belgique. Très belle promotion sur cette lampe torche nitecore P20ix. 

Ultieme handzaam power zaklamp voor core verlichting in de nacht en gure donkere steegjes, casual gebruik voor om huis en zelfverdediging. Je verblind iedere aanvaller mocht je dat willen met de turbo functie in de tactical modus. Die 4000 lumen verlicht zelfs een compleet groot industrie hal.

Mooi is dat de stroboscoop functie makkelijk te gebruiken is en dat de kop van de zaklamp 3 tungsten koppen heeft om een ruit in te slaan mocht je uit een situatie willen komen zoals een auto etc. en natuurlijk voor degenen die jou aanvallen flink wat pijn kan geven ;)
